Feeling Better

I am feeling much better, not 100% because I still have a cough.

Looking forward to working out this week. Taking a week off was harsh.

I will weigh in tomorrow, I had to get up early this morning and go out to Eagle Mountain to work at the registration table at the Archery Golf Shoot.

On the Way home the drive shaft of our truck came off while I was going 55 mph. My 8 year old was with me, it scared me, not knowing if the truck would stop. I called my brother, he told me to drive home in 4 wheel drive. Also some awesome Army guys stopped and helped me and made sure I was safe to go. We made it home, but it was a scary 10 miles. A second piece fell off 4 miles after we left, but luckily again, nothing bad happened.

Well, here is hoping tomorrow is the start of a new and better week.

Purple Day 5k for Epilepsy

On Saturday March 24th I had the opportunity to run in the first Annual Purple Day 5k for Epilepsy. This will go down as one of the most heart warming, memorable races I have ever done. This race was created by some of my most dearest friends, The Green Family: Greg, Angela, Gabe, Marisa, and the inspiration for it all, Natalie. Natalie is 11 years old and was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy and Epilepsy when she was 8 months old.   I decided that I wanted to race and support this great cause and my friends to help find a cure for Epilepsy. Purple is the color to support Epilepsy so of course, if you know me, you go big or you go home and so I went big and bought me a purple morph suit that covered my entire body, head to toe in purple awesomeness! Biggest Loser Casting Call- Season 12

Hey everyone! So, last week my friend texted me and asked if I would try out for the Biggest Loser with her. We have been friends for 15 years and I just adore her. She is why I met the man of my dreams, she went to school with McKay and set us up and the rest is HISTORY! She asked, I said yes and now we are getting ready to go show the casting directors why we should be on the Biggest Loser! I honestly think if the casting directors see in us what all of our friends see in us that we would be awesome for the show! A lot of you already know my story and I continue to get messages on facebook, comments on my blog and emails from friends telling me how I have inspired them. I did it!

Yesterday in the mail I got this little gem: It feels amazing that I was able to accomplish so many goals this year! It has been a great year full of learning, growing and new lifelong friendships! Thank you to everyone who has been part of my journey, I have such a great group of friends cheering me on, I love you all.
