Biggest Loser Casting Call- Season 12

Hey everyone! So, last week my friend texted me and asked if I would try out for the Biggest Loser with her. We have been friends for 15 years and I just adore her. She is why I met the man of my dreams, she went to school with McKay and set us up and the rest is HISTORY!
She asked, I said yes and now we are getting ready to go show the casting directors why we should be on the Biggest Loser! I honestly think if the casting directors see in us what all of our friends see in us that we would be awesome for the show! A lot of you already know my story and I continue to get messages on facebook, comments on my blog and emails from friends telling me how I have inspired them.

We had a chance to win a VIP pass on KSL on facebook, so I called on my friends to help out and I am so overwhelmed by the love and support of you all! Thanks for all of your comments. My friend, Shannon was the lucky post winner. She won for me and I am so excited I get to go with my friend to this open casting call. We have a great chance to show the casting directors why we should be on the show, very exciting.
My friend and I have been gathering pictures of us before and after and it has been such a fun week and a half talking with her everyday and getting so excited and giddy on the phone. If we are on the Biggest Loser, I have to say that we are going to be the Nations favorites, what is not to love? Plus, we are adorable overweight, imagine us 100 pounds lighter! Magical!
Thank you all , I love you all and I hope we are able to get on the Biggest Loser so I can continue to inspire on a Nationwide scale! I am hoping we get a call back, but don’t expect to hear me announce it on my blog or facebook, you will just have to watch next season to see if we make it! Well, I guess if we don't make it, you might see a post on here proclaiming my disappointment!  I would like to say thanks to all of you and I would like to share all the awesome posts by my very dear friends!
Enjoy the comments, I sure did!

  1. Good luck! Routing for you! And I'm pretty sure we'll figure it out sooner or later even without a big announcement; when we don't see you around. You better still be my friend even when you're famous :)

Purple Day 5k for Epilepsy

On Saturday March 24th I had the opportunity to run in the first Annual Purple Day 5k for Epilepsy. This will go down as one of the most heart warming, memorable races I have ever done. This race was created by some of my most dearest friends, The Green Family: Greg, Angela, Gabe, Marisa, and the inspiration for it all, Natalie. Natalie is 11 years old and was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy and Epilepsy when she was 8 months old.   I decided that I wanted to race and support this great cause and my friends to help find a cure for Epilepsy. Purple is the color to support Epilepsy so of course, if you know me, you go big or you go home and so I went big and bought me a purple morph suit that covered my entire body, head to toe in purple awesomeness! You should have seen Natalie's face when I showed up decked out in my purple-tastic outfit, priceless!   There were 160 runners/walkers at this race and an amazing group called  Push to the Finish  that pus...

I did it!

Yesterday in the mail I got this little gem: It feels amazing that I was able to accomplish so many goals this year! It has been a great year full of learning, growing and new lifelong friendships! Thank you to everyone who has been part of my journey, I have such a great group of friends cheering me on, I love you all. I can't wait to get out there and start helping other reach their fitness goals! Keep Moving, Keep Smiling, You've got this! --Jena

Week 2 Complete!

Well, I have completed 2 weeks of boot camp and I am feeling great. I can already tell a big difference in my clothes and in my energy levels. I love the routine of waking up, getting ready, and completing my workout for the day by 6:30 am. Everyone in our class is doing great. I am really enjoying this class, it feels good to be pushed to your limits and sometimes go beyond what you think you can do! On a side note, today is my Husband's birthday, so, it looks like I get to enjoy some Indian food tonight! Happy Birthday McKay! ---Jena
